Summary
Carleton County Animal Shelter provides care and protection for animals while working to support adoption and animal welfare initiatives in the community. Volunteers contribute through hands-on roles such as cleaning and maintaining the shelter, feeding and grooming animals, assisting with handling and exercise, and supporting transportation needs. Additional opportunities include assisting with fundraising events and fostering animals to help reduce shelter overcrowding and support rehabilitation.
